DUBLIN, IR --In a recent report by Research and Markets (RM), the Health Care sector was cited as slower than the national average in adopting VoIP solutions. The report stated that Health Care IT managers were less likely than others to plan on converging network capabilities any time soon. RM attributes this to concerns regarding IP telephony's ability to hold up in a communications-intense environment where its stability can mean life or death in some cases.RM states that Health Care IT managers have been focusing their investments more in the hardware and applications area to provide improved operational efficiencies, but that in the long term, IT managers will have to focus more on IP-based services to drive employee productivity.
